A foundation model that predicts how autistic brains experience sight, sound and language — turning months of lab work into seconds of computation. Trained on 1,545 brain scans across seven sensory networks, and it runs in real time on an ordinary CPU.
Cortex
mind.new · research tool
AQAL's inverse. Where AQAL predicts how a brain will respond, Cortex reads the connectivity patterns in scans already taken — helping researchers find subtypes within a cohort, flag scans that need a second look, and generate biomarker hypotheses.
Around 58% validation accuracy — informative for research, well below diagnostic grade. Cortex does not diagnose anyone. ADOS-2 and ADI-R remain the clinical standard.
